The Renaissance was from the 1300’s to the 1500’s. It started towards the end of the middle ages and the dark ages. It began after the Crusades when the Crusaders came back. The Renaissance was the age of rebirth. The age that consisted of many wonderful things including trade, art, science, architecture, religion, learning, and inventions. The biggest thing though was the trade. Trade began after the crusaders came back from there journey for god bearing many new things from all over Europe. They beared spices, apricots, lemons, a musical instrument that resembled a guitar, rice, dyes, perfume, soap, glass mirrors, and the biggest of all idea’s. Some popular people from the Renaissance were Michelangelo, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Gutenberg, Titian, Dà ¼rer, Vesalius, Copernicus, Cervantes, Shakespeare, Queen Isabella I, and Queen Elizabeth I. Queen Elizabeth I was born September 7, 1533 in Palace of Placentia Queen, Greenwich, England. During the Middle Ages of the Renaissance Elizabeth I was an important person in the Renaissance but not for the usual reasons. Elizabeth was most popular and known for her laid back nature and did not keeping society from advancing. Queen Elizabeth I died March 24, 1603 in Richmond Palace, Surrey, England.
